Artist Bio
Laura Lynn Reyes was born in 1993 to a German mother and a Filipino father, on the outskirts of Cologne and currently lives and works in Zurich, Switzerland.
She received her BA Design Major Trends & Identity at the Zurich University of the Arts in 2021. Her work with organic waste streams has led to ongoing material research and object design.
Through her paintings, she seeks space for pure expression and explores themes of identity, underutilized resources, heritage and everyday life. Besides common mixed media, she utilizes waste – such as paint rinse water, emphasizing raw aesthetics and tactility.
